Meteor City · Platform

Skyros.
The market, measured.

Skyros™ is our data collection, aggregation, and analysis platform. It watches consumer marketplaces the way a seismograph watches the ground: continuously, quantitatively, and without opinion. Everything Meteor City manufactures was first a pattern in this data.

01 · Architecture

From raw marketplace noise to a manufacturing decision.

The platform runs as a pipeline of five systems. Data enters as unstructured marketplace observations and leaves as a single, defensible answer: build, or don’t.

02 · Collection

How the data is gathered.

C-01

Observe the shelf

Skyros monitors public marketplace listings across the categories we operate in: prices, sales-rank movement, inventory signals, ratings, and review flow. Observation is continuous; a listing is a time series, not a snapshot.

C-02

Read the advertising layer

Sponsored placements reveal what listings alone can’t: which products a competitor is willing to pay to defend, how aggressively, and against which search terms. Skyros records placement patterns as a proxy for competitor margin and intent.

C-03

Map the language of demand

Search-term data shows how customers actually describe what they want, which is rarely how manufacturers describe it. Skyros maintains keyword landscapes per category: volume, seasonality, and the gap between what’s searched and what’s sold.

C-04

Resolve everything to one record

The same physical product appears under different names, bundles, and sellers across channels. An entity-resolution layer collapses these into a single canonical product record, so every downstream number describes the product, not the listing.

C-05

Keep the history

Everything lands in a longitudinal warehouse. Category questions are answered against years of history: whether demand is structural or seasonal, whether an incumbent is strengthening or coasting, and how new entrants have fared before.

03 · Analysis

The signals, rendered.

Modeled outputs land on internal dashboards like these. Every product Meteor City has shipped began as an anomaly on one of them.

04 · Consulting

For our products, and sometimes for others’.

Skyros is first and foremost our own instrument; every Elestoria product decision runs through it.

Alongside our own line, we do consulting work for manufacturers. We combine their factory data with Skyros’s market data to show which products are worth launching, which face too little demand to bother, and how a launch should differ across markets. In some cases we handle the launch and distribution ourselves.

Skyros, productized.

In 2026 we productized the advertising-analysis layer of Skyros into a public subscription product for Amazon sellers. It reads Amazon Search Term Reports to locate wasted ad spend, surface the keywords that earn their bids, and generate ready-to-upload bulk fix files: the same discipline we apply to our own listings, offered as software.

The subscription covers the advertising layer only; the collection, resolution, and warehouse machinery described above stays internal. Alongside the software, our team offers hands-on Amazon advertising services: account audits, ongoing campaign management, and brand promotion strategy.
